Article: Trivium at Saint Vitus 9/24/15

Saint Vitus bar is easily becoming a home for me. Whenever I go there, I always have new memories and fun experiences with members of my community in New York City and the performers who come by to raise some serious hell in the venue. Trivium was no different. For a band who is used to performing major arenas and festivals, the turn around to play a 250 capacity venue was just OBSCURE to my eyes at first. When i stepped foot in the venue and learned there were no openers for the night, I knew i walked into something special. Trivium has not played a small club in a very, very long time. Me, having never seen Trivium live until that night, learned why. The circle pits and the mashing was up there with some legendary pitting I have been in (nothing has quite surpassed Vision of Disorder at Webster Hall where I collapsed from exhaustion after the set).

The 12 song set-list lasted an hour and a half at best. After the show, the band made their way upstairs for a mini meet & greet with fans who stayed after the show, to which everything went nice and smooth. I would wind up downstairs in “The Dungeon” to do an interview with Trivium for RevolverTV. You can check out the photos of the five songs I shot without photo pit, cause lets face it there never is one at Saint Vitus. Don’t forget to check below for the set-list too and catch them on tour currently with Tremonti and Wilson! Coming off the new album “Silence in the Snow”, which is released on October 2nd, check out their current music video “Until the World Turns Cold” down below also.
