OHHH MAN, You don’t say no to the Rivers family. I have been a fan of this band since I met them, before they were signed to Metal Blade records. Each show is always something new and different whether it be fan reactions or even the band themselves who act like fools on stage by having so much fun. This is the first show I have shot without drummer Alan Balamut, who recently departed due to critical life decisions he had to face for his future. Totally understandable but the band rolls on. With the Dark Sermon crew and Black Fast rounding up this package, it was a great mixture of music and promising futures for these fresh bands making their journey. After the show, Black Fast and myself went to Duffs Brooklyn to do a photo-shoot, which turned out to be pure insanity for the Saturday night natives who inhabit the bar. It was all positive.
