Vikings AHOY!!! 4/22/16
Ah Amon Amarth, Viking metal is alive and kicking with one of my favorite Swedish acts around. Metal Blade records teamed them up with my lovely Exmortus family for this tour. Also with them was Entombed A.D. Exports and Amon Amarth held their ground as expected, not really an Entombed A.D fan unfortunately but I still gave them the respect to cover them. Instead of a massive viking ship this year, the band came out with a big helmet with their drummers kit sitting above it. What really irritated me was that they had viking warriors on the stage, fighting during some of the songs. This was only possible AFTER the photographers were told to get out the pit. Talk about capturing the EXPERIENCE. GOOD JOB GUYS, anyways, off to the photos from all the bands!
