High on Meshuggah at Playstation Theater 11/3/16
OMG Meshuggah… Okay, now that is out of my system, you can check out the incredible photos I captured at Playstation Theater in Times Square. Although their light show is one of the best I have ever seen, It is NOT the most pleasant to shoot photos in. Strobes Strobes Strobes envelop the stage and short bursts of lights fill up faces, instruments and foreground. It was extremely tough, but hell… Revolver liked them ;). high on Fire opened the show up with No resistance what-so-ever when it came to lights. Mostly purple and white, so that was a good time before I began ripping out whatever hair I had left. The Violent Sleep of Reason is out now, and is Meshuggah’s current album after their mega-hit “Koloss”. Last time I captured Meshuggah, they stormed the now closed Roseland Ballroom with Animals as Leaders and Intronaut, I hated my work then, but I love it now.
